Examples:

🔷 Part 2 — Talking About What You Did (Pretérito)
Use pretérito to say what happened during the trip.
Fui a Cancún el año pasado.
Visité muchos museos.
Comí comida típica todos los días.
Caminé por el centro histórico.
Longer example:
El verano pasado fui a Oaxaca con mi familia. Visitamos varios pueblos pequeños, comimos comida deliciosa y caminamos mucho por el centro de la ciudad.
🔷 Part 3 — Describing Places (Imperfecto)
Use imperfecto to describe how places were.
La ciudad era muy tranquila.
El hotel estaba cerca del mar.
Las calles eran coloridas y bonitas.
Combine both tenses:
Fui a un pueblo que era muy pequeño pero muy hermoso.
